Alinta Energy supports the inaugural MobileGP Soup Kitchen

Alinta Energy proudly supported the launch of the inaugural MobileGP Soup Kitchen in Perth last week. Run in association with Western Australia’s Homeless Week, the event was held over five days with the city’s top chefs cooking gourmet soup to be sold to the public for $5. The initiative was successful in raising $9,164 in funding for the Mobile GP service which provides mobile healthcare to homeless, marginalised and disadvantaged people.

Alinta Energy is pleased to announce that it has successfully placed A$1.2bn of senior secured debt in the US Term Loan B (TLB) market, with a maturity of six years. The package is covenant-lite and includes a delayed draw facility of A$70M and a revolving credit facility of A$240M to support Alinta Energy’s future growth and working capital requirements, respectively.

Quiches, meatballs, lamb cutlets, salads and trifle were the orders of the day.
