The Champions of Change Coalition includes CEOs, secretaries of government departments, non-executive directors and community leaders who believe gender equality is a major business, economic, societal, and human rights issue. Established in 2010 by Elizabeth Broderick AO, its mission is inclusive gender equality across its workplaces by 2030 and a significant and sustainable increase in the representation of women in leadership.
I joined 18 CEOs from across the energy industry at a meeting in early June, engaging in conversation about how we can work to achieve gender equality and greater representation for women in leadership roles in the energy sector.
By uniting CEOs from across the sector and tapping into the Coalition’s resources, we intend to work with our teams to drive meaningful change on gender equality.
We all have a role to play in achieving gender equality and one thing I can do is help ensure we are building it into our sector and workplaces as we navigate the energy transition.
