Alinta Energy is a member of the Australian Energy Council and supports the industry-wide customer support measures detailed in the Council’s 27 March media release.
Alinta Energy MD & CEO Jeff Dimery said that in addition to supporting the industry-wide customer support measures, he wanted customers to understand a simple message.
“If you’ve lost your job, if your hours have been cut back, or if your business is struggling and you’re having trouble paying your bills, please ring us because we will help, and we will figure out a plan that works for you.
“We’ve stopped referring customers to debt collection agencies and there will be no disconnections until at least 31 July, we just need anyone who is having trouble paying to ring us so we can put the right support measure in place,” he said.
