Its 51 turbines delivered an impressive output of 744,675 MWh in the 2023 calendar year according to data from OpenNEM, underscoring the site's important contribution to Western Australia's growing renewable energy demands.
We're proud of these results from Yandin and the hard work being done by our people there.
It's not the only good news to come out of Yandin this month. Recent data from Rystad Energy (captured in this RenewEconomy article) also placed the site fourth in the top five wind assets in the country in terms its capacity factor for January 2024 – at more than 40 per cent.
All five of the top performing assets were located in Western Australia, exemplifying the region's status as a wind powerhouse. As Western Australia continues to embrace clean energy solutions, we believe Yandin will continue to play an important role.
