How to use MyAccount

MyAccount is a secure, self-service tool that lets our residential and business customers access their Alinta Energy account 24/7. You can check and download your bills, manage your payments, update your details and even save money – via the Rewards Shop.

Activating MyAccount is simple. Clicking hereopens in a new tab will take you to the activation page where you can “Activate MyAccount.”

Enter a few details including your Alinta Energy customer number (find it on the top right corner of your bill or welcome email) and your email address. Have your mobile phone handy because we will send you a verification code as an extra form of security.

Once you’ve activated, you’ll have instant access to MyAccount. Shortly after you’ll receive an email confirmation with your details.

You can make online credit card payments to your most recent bill any time you like. Planning an extended holiday? With MyAccount you can make pre-payments toward your account to cover your energy costs while you’re away.

MyAccount lets you check your account balance any time you like. You can view your bills to get a detailed breakdown of your charges. You can even compare your bills across billing periods.

Want to set up a direct debit? Need more time to pay your bill? With MyAccount you can set up a recurring direct debit to pay your bills automatically – or request an extension if you need more time to pay. It’s self-service made super easy.
