There is a limit of one free 4 hour move per business day. If there’s already a move booked for the day you want, there is no need to worry. All Alinta Energy customers have access to discounted rates to use another moving truck provided by Adlam Transport as part of our ongoing partnership.
The Alinta Energy moving truck is available for one move per day, weekdays.

Frequently asked questions
You must be an Alinta Energy customer at your move in address to book our moving truck – either move your account online or call 13 13 58.
Then, you’ll need to complete our booking request online.
Adlam Transport will be in contact within 2-3 business days to organise an in-home survey and confirm the availability of our moving truck. If there’s already a move booked for the day you want, you’ll be offered a discounted rate on another moving truck provided by Adlam Transport.
Adlam Transport will stay in contact with you throughout your move and on your moving day.
The Alinta Energy moving truck is available for one move per day, Monday to Friday.
A 4 hour free move with the Alinta Energy moving truck will provide you with a professional removal service equal to two removalists and a moving truck for four hours.
We understand that not every move is the same. Some moves are much larger and may involve additional labour and trucks.
So beyond this time, a discounted rate will be provided by Adlam Transport which you can read about in our terms and conditions here.
Adlam Transport will undertake a survey by phone or email and provide you with professional advice on what is required to complete a professional and efficient move.
Your move date can’t be guaranteed or secured until after your survey has been completed and your paperwork returned to Adlam Transport.
It is only at this time that Adlam Transport are able to check if the Alinta Energy moving truck is available for your requested moving date. If it’s not available on your requested move date, Adlam Transport will attempt to accommodate your request with another available day, as close to your required date as possible.
If there’s already a move booked for the day you want, you’ll still receive a discounted rate on another moving truck provided by Adlam Transport, which will be included in your paperwork.

Cancellations
- Please be aware that you’re bound to your contract with Adlam Transport and may be subject to late cancellation fees. Any cancellation fees will be set out in your contract with Adlam Transport.
Rescheduling
- The Alinta Energy moving truck may already be booked on the new moving day you want to reschedule to. If there’s already a move booked for the day you want, you’ll receive a discounted rate on another moving truck provided by Adlam Transport.
If moving services are restricted as a result of any government directives due to a public health or other event outside your or our control, Adlam Transport will be in touch directly to discuss your move.
*T&Cs and eligibility criteria apply. Offer subject to availability. Alinta Energy customers can receive up to 4 free hours of moving services from Adlam Transport per 12 month period from your last free move. For more than 4 hours, or on days when the moving truck is not available, a discounted rate will be payable by the customer. Excludes optional extra services offered by Adlam, such as insurance. Only one free move is available per day, Monday to Friday. The moving services will not be available in the event that Adlam Transport is unable to operate due to any reason whatsoever.
